TechCONNECTS! Internship
Next Internship Start: June 7, 2022
When: Tue/Thur: 5pm-7pm
Where: Hosted at Best Buy Teen Tech Center
TechCONNECTS! is a new 12-week internship where high school students earn $15/hr. while learning essential skills and providing tech support to the Minneapolis community, while closing the digital divide.
Students will learn:
- Computer software
- Customer service
- Professional development
- Community engagement
- Information literacy
- How to search for careers
- Tech trouble-shooting
- And more!
Weeks 1 - 6: Training
Students will meet weekly from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday/Thursday at the Summit Academy Best Buy Teen Tech Center.
Weeks 7 - 12: Community support
Students will use their training to provide community support for the remainder of the internship at various locations.
