Best Buy Teen
Tech Center
The Best Buy Teen Tech Center is a free drop-in space where youth can access cutting-edge technology to learn graphic design, film production, 3D imaging, music production and photography.

CONNECTS!
TechCONNECTS! is a new 12-week internship where students earn $15/hr. while learning essential skills and providing tech support to the Minneapolis community.

The Beast Mobile Innovation Lab is a mobile classroom on a double-decker bus designed to innovate learning experiences through hands-on STEM education.
The Beast Mobile Innovation Lab will be parked in over 30 locations throughout the Twin Cities - giving youth an opportunity to cultivate creativity, innovation, mastery and exploration. STEM modules and lessons include:
Madam C.J. Walker - Inventor
Madam C. J. Walker was the first Black woman millionaire in America and made her fortune thanks to her homemade line of hair care products for Black women. Walker invented the “Walker System,” which involved the creation of products for scalp preparation, lotions and iron combs.
Northside STEM District partners
The Northside STEM District (NSSTEM), a youth division of Summit Academy OIC (in partnership with over a dozen education and community service organizations) provides hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) programs, activities and events for children and families within North Minneapolis and surrounding communities.
